HIGH POINT, N.C., April 24, 2015 – High Point University recently hired Armeka Ware as payroll manager.
Ware is responsible for processing of all university payroll accounts and acts as a liaison with the external payroll provider for employees. He also ensures the payroll, time and attendance, and Web benefits systems are operating efficiently and accurately.
Ware’s previous experience includes working with several bank and payroll companies, including Paychex Inc., Bank of America and Inmar Corporation. As a certified payroll professional, Ware brings more than 10 years of expertise to his new position at HPU.
“I am very excited to be a part of the extraordinary team at HPU,” says Ware. “I hope to make an impact on students and faculty alike and maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively. As a longtime football player and active family man, I believe in the word ‘team’ and will work to uphold these beliefs at HPU.”
Ware graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in management information systems. He also volunteers his time within the community by working within his church to help champion hunger and homelessness through area-wide programs.
