HIGH POINT, N.C., June 18, 2015 – High Point University recently hired Stephanie Todt as assistant director of campus engagement and student activities in the Office of Student Life.
Todt assists with development of programming for the Student Engagement Calendar, as well as programming for Summer Experience and Welcome Week. Todt also manages the cinema, arcade and special events on campus, along with supervising the student staff in those areas.
Having previously interned with new student services at the University of California, Berkley, Todt is ready to use her experience in student activities at HPU.
“I hope to help HPU students find a way to connect to this campus and the community through programming and events designed to help them explore their interests,” says Todt. “They may even discover some new interests in the process.”
Todt says she is honored to work among faculty and staff who truly care about seeing every student grow and develop and is excited to do her part to enrich students’ lives.
“Overall, I want to see students find their niche. I want to see them grow into their own so they can graduate as well-rounded and confident individuals, enacting positive change in the world,” Todt says.
Todt received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Suffolk University. She also received her Master of Education in counselor education from Clemson University.
