HIGH POINT, N.C., July 2, 2015 – High Point University will host an evening of free music featuring country artist Lacy Green starting at 6 p.m. on July 19 in the Hoffman Amphitheater at David R. Lacy Green is a singer and songwriter from Pilot Mountain. She is now pursuing her dream in country music playing her songs at festivals and shows throughout the U.S. Her debut single, “For the Summertime,” broke into the Top 100 for country radio single in 2011.

HPU partners with the High Point Arts Council each year to host one of the performances from the six-concert Arts Splash series. This season’s lineup includes beach, country, bluegrass, jazz, funk, rhythm and blues and Motown performances held at various locations throughout High Point during the summer months.
