HIGH POINT, N.C., July 27, 2015 – Alexandra Jones was recently hired at High Point University as a human resources coordinator in the Office of Human Resources.
Jones works collaboratively with the HR team, hiring managers and supervisors around campus to streamline processes related to the hiring of new employees and their welcoming and orientation to the university. She is also responsible for the management of employee information for current staff members.
As a recent graduate of HPU, Jones has worked in the HR office as a student employee since January 2013. Her previous experience also includes an internship with the Office of Business Transformation at the Pentagon, where she took part in data collection/analysis and presentation design projects.
“The Office of Human Resources is essential to the intricate systems that help the university function,” Jones says. “I want to ensure that all faculty and staff are equipped with the knowledge and information that human resources provides, so that they can best perform their jobs around the university.”
