HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 23, 2015 – High Point University hired Brett Hurst as coordinator of institutional assessment in the Office of Research and Planning.
Hurst guides incoming freshmen and transfer students through various placement tests, including math, reading and foreign language tests. He also runs multiple university research projects.
“In my position, I’m privileged to be one of the first people incoming students speak to from the university,” Hurst says. “I love to hear their enthusiasm for the university and to share my enthusiasm in return.”
Hurst was a product specialist and project manager at the online research company Qualtrics before arriving at HPU. He received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University.
