HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 24, 2015 – High Point University hired Natalie O’Connor as a learning excellence specialist in the Office of Academic Services. She provides individualized academic support to students in the Learning Excellence program.
“I am truly excited to work with the students in the Learning Excellence program,” says O’Connor. “Part of my job is helping students discover their potential and tapping into that potential here at HPU.”
Before joining HPU, O’Connor worked in international programs and provided academic advising at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She found her niche in fostering student success and supporting students holistically.
O’Connor graduated from UNCG with a Bachelor of Science in international business and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She also received her Master of Education in student personnel administration in higher education from UNCG.
