HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 21, 2016 – High Point University’s Office of Institutional Advancement has hired Ally Cathey as alumni engagement manager.
Cathey manages alumni relations, volunteers and events, including Alumni Weekend. She also impacts students on campus by showing them the value in staying engaged with their alma mater.
“As a two-time graduate of High Point University, I have seen firsthand the exciting and amazing things that can happen here,” says Cathey. “I am thrilled to support the HPU family in my new role.”
Cathey previously worked as a design and sales associate for local furniture companies and as a community manager for the American Cancer Society.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and a Master of Arts in nonprofit management from HPU.
