HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 20, 2016 – High Point University hired Camila Dossantos as an international admissions counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Dossantos travels around the world to develop relationships with international schools and works with families and high school counselors to enroll international students at HPU.
“As HPU’s international admissions counselor, I can use my life experiences, professional skills and passion for working with youth in a way that I have not yet experienced in my career,” says Dossantos. ”I am looking forward to increasing HPU’s international student population on campus and illustrating to all prospective students the extraordinary education and opportunities our students receive at HPU.”
Prior to her work at HPU, Dossantos was a school counselor for Guilford County Schools.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in criminology from the College of New Jersey in Ewing and a Master of Education in school counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
