HPU Adds Learning Excellence Specialist

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 13, 2016 – Tina Cook joined High Point University as a learning excellence specialist in the Office of Academic Services. She provides individualized academic coaching and support to students in the Learning Excellence program.

“I am honored to join High Point University and proud to be a part of the Office of Academic Services with such a dedicated team of professionals who are truly committed to helping students succeed,” says Cook. She says she hopes to support student learning and achievement of academic goals.

Cook’s background is focused in counseling and student affairs. She previously worked as a school counselor and in the areas of retention, career counseling and residence life.

Cook earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and her Master of Arts in counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
