New Resident Director Joins Staff at HPU

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 25, 2016 – High Point University welcomes Tim Day as a resident director in the Office of Student Life.

Day’s responsibilities include overseeing resident and student events, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and managing resident assistants and student office assistants.

“I am excited to work with students and join other dedicated professionals at HPU,” says Day. “I want to impact students by assisting them in their personal development and encouraging them to seek out opportunities outside of their comfort zone.”

He previously worked as a hall director at Mississippi State University, an undergraduate fitness trainer and a research assistant with the Institute to Promote Athlete Health and Wellness at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Day earned a Bachelor of Science in health education from McKendree University and a Master of Science in health promotion from Mississippi State University.
