HPU Welcomes New Student Success Coach

HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 1, 2016 – High Point University hired Bradley Taylor as a student success coach.

Taylor provides academic and transitional support to first-year students. In addition, he provides advice to students concerning course selections and career decisions. Taylor, who graduated from HPU with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, works with freshmen who are studying chemistry, biochemistry, biology and physics.

“I am very excited to be back at High Point University and to provide success coaching to freshmen majoring in scientific fields,” says Taylor. “Through my work I hope to promote a student’s sense of belonging, strengthen their connection to HPU and support their academic success.”

Taylor previously worked as an analytical chemistry research assistant at Wake Forest University and a graduate assistant for central campus and staff development at Duke University.

In addition to his studies at HPU, Taylor earned a Master of Education in higher education administration from North Carolina State University.
