HIGH POINT, N.C., March 8, 2016 – High Point University’s Congdon School of Health Sciences welcomes Andrea Alvarez as a clinical education specialist for the Department of Physical Therapy.
Alvarez assists with communication and contractual agreements between clinical facilities, students and faculty members. She reviews contracts and keeps track of all clinical experiences for students and instructors.
“I will help physical therapy students with organizing clinical experiences during their time at HPU,” says Alvarez. “This is a vital part of their education, as it means our students are getting superb hands-on training.”
Alvarez holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing a master’s degree with the George Washington University.
