Class of 2016 Donates $31,000 as Senior Class Gift

HIGH POINT, N.C., June 6, 2016 – High Point University’s Class of 2016 gave back to the university that has impacted their lives through the last four years. In total, the students raised more than $31,000 with an 84 percent giving participation.

The students donated to numerous causes within the university including the department of biology, interior design, entrepreneurship, business and athletics, to name a few.

“We are so proud of the Class of 2016,” said Hayley Harris, alumni engagement manager at HPU. “Their Senior Class Giving Campaign set a university record this year. This shows just how much these seniors love and support their alma mater. Seniors contributed to many things on campus including the HPU Fund, which helps provide scholarships to incoming students.”
