Local Athletes Participate in HPU’s NIH Study

Local athletes are part of a study underway at High Point University’s Human Biomechanics and Physiology Lab, funded by the largest National Institutes of Health Grant the university has ever secured. Their goal is find ways to prevent ACL tears, which are more likely to occur in young female athletes.

The ongoing study is still seeking participants who are female athletes between the ages of 9 and 19. For more information, contact [email protected].
