Why you chose HPU: “HPU is special. The teachers, students, campus, education, Dr. Qubein – it’s all special. When I toured the campus in early September of my senior year, it poured down rain. I figured it had to be a sign that the school wasn’t for me. I was wrong. Every interaction I had, whether it was with my tour guide or an admissions counselor, everything was falling into place. Before leaving campus, I met Mr. Kerr Ramsey who truly made an impact on my decision to attend HPU. The kindness traveled throughout every conversation. The day after, I told my mom, ‘Let’s go back just to make sure it’s as perfect as we think.’ So, on a beautiful, sunny day in High Point, N.C., I made my decision after visiting campus for the second day in a row. HPU was perfect, in rain or shine, and I couldn’t wait to apply. That feeling of support and inspiration is why I chose High Point University.”
What you’re looking forward to at HPU: “From joining clubs of interest to interning with amazing businesses, I’m looking forward to the extraordinary experience at HPU. I am excited to make business and personal connections with people who will inspire my design ideas, and I am even more ecstatic for the motivation I know I’ll receive from students and faculty to assist in furthering my passion.”
