HPU Students Travel for Eclipse Viewing

About 100 High Point University students traveled to Newberry, South Carolina on Aug. 21 to see the eclipse in its “path of totality,” the path where the sun is completely blocked.

The group departed campus early and returned that same evening. HPU physics and astronomy instructor Jeff Regester led the trip, and when his group returned to campus after a long day of traveling, they’re returned happy.
