Bob Buckley of Fox8 interviews Dr. Nido Qubein, longtime citizen of High Point and president of High Point University, about his leadership in the revitalization of High Point.
Qubein has raised $50 million in private donations to support catalyst projects and elements of a future baseball stadium in downtown High Point. Under his leadership, a baseball team and naming rights for a stadium have been acquired. Private donations will also fund a children’s museum, educational center, park and events center, making downtown a destination point in the city.
