Tubby Smith Named New Men’s Basketball Coach at High Point University
High Point University President Dr. Nido Qubein has announced the hiring of Hall of Famer Orlando ‘Tubby’ Smith as the Panther’s head coach for men’s basketball, as well as the location of the future Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena, Conference Center and Hotel on HPU’s campus.
