HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 27, 2018 – High Point University will bring the community together to remember and retell the Christmas story during the annual Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the Charles E. Hayworth Memorial Chapel. The service is free and open to the public.
This special candlelight service is the final chapel service of the fall semester. It will feature members of the university community reading scripture and music led by the Chapel Choir. The service is based on the traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols from King’s College, Cambridge, England.
The service will be broadcast live to the chapel fellowship hall to accommodate overflow attendance and online at www.highpoint.edu/live.
Attendees should enter campus from University Parkway and Montlieu Avenue. Parking will be available behind Hayworth Fine Arts Center.
