Greensboro Symphony to Present ‘Farewell Symphony’ at HPU

HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 14, 2020 – High Point University invites the community to experience a special performance by the Greensboro Symphony, titled “Farewell Symphony,” on Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hayworth Fine Arts Center.

The Symphony will be joined by musician Artyom Dervoed on guitar. The evening will include performances of “Capriccio Sinfonico,” written by Giacomo Puccini; “Guitar Concerto,” written by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Symphony No. 45 in F# minor; and “Farewell,” written by Franz Joseph Hadyn.
