WGHP Fox 8: HPU Students Get Real Life Civics Lesson in Raleigh

As part of a final project, 20 HPU students traveled to Raleigh to the state legislature to advocate for issues they picked. Students in Dr. Brandon Lenoir’s Campaigns course spent the semester researching their topic and identifying lawmakers who would support or oppose their issue. This is another way HPU offers experiential learning opportunities.
