The professors in sport management, specifically Dr. Jenny Lukow, chair of the department of sport, event and hospitality management, guided me throughout my entire journey at HPU and always encouraged me to do my best work. A lot of people believed in me, which made me believe in myself, and now I am accomplishing my professional goals.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My most impactful mentor at HPU was certainly Dr. Jenny Lukow. She has been there for me since day one and always encouraged me to work hard, always pushed me to put myself out there, and encouraged me to find internships or relevant sport experience.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Continue to put yourself out there and put yourself in uncomfortable situations that will help you grow as a professional.”
