How HPU helped you get there: “High Point University taught me to become more organized, and the professional development course I took in the Sport Management program helped me learn essential skills needed in graduate school and future jobs.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Dr. Lukow, Sport Management Department Chair and Associate Professor of Sport Management and Dr. Koba, Assistant Professor and Director of the Master of Arts in Communication Business and Leadership Program, are two impactful mentors at High Point University. Both of them helped me throughout my years at the university and provided me with advice and support.”
How you used Career and Professional Development: “I used the Office of Career and Professional Development to review my resume and Linkedin before applying for summer internships. Additionally, the office and advisors assisted me in finding and applying for various internships.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Underclassmen are advised to utilize all the resources High Point University provides their students. When guest speakers are visiting the university, make sure to go to the events and network with them.”
