Post-graduation plans: Kyle will begin his career as a Financial Solutions Analyst at Bloomberg, L.P. in New York, New York. Kyle will be enhancing client experience on The Bloomberg Terminal by tailoring functionality that optimizes clients’ specific workflows. He will also be creating and presenting client engagement strategies as I prepare to enter the sales side of the business within 12-18 months.

Dr. Sundaram’s guidance and encouragement helped me realize my potential and gave me the confidence I needed to earn the internship, excel in the role and earn the full-time position.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “I genuinely believe that being able to work as a Sales Assistant at the Furniture Markets over the last four years was one of the most impactful decisions I have made. The lasting connections that I have made from participating and the professional experience that I gained are something that has let me stand out in interviews and to recruiters and given me the confidence that I can contribute effectively at companies like Bloomberg.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success? “HPU’s environment makes you want to excel and perform at a high level. It encourages you to strive for greater goals and push the boundaries of your successes.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success? ” The life skills that have prepared me for long-term success are Communication and Time Management.”
What are the values and virtues HPU’s campus helped you develop that you’ll take with you after graduation? “The importance of balancing work and life. Bloomberg strongly values the importance of physical, mental and emotional health through having a work-life balance. I think the environment that HPU cultivates has taught me the importance of having enriching experiences with friends and family that allow me to be my best in professional/work settings.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Network and prioritize expanding your interpersonal skills. I cannot put enough emphasis on how important it is to be able to leverage your network, be an effective communicator and overall, someone that other people enjoy working with and being around.”
