Post-graduation plans: Macy will begin her Career as an Interior Designer at CBB Design Firm in Morganton, North Carolina. Macy will be serving as an independently contracted Interior Designer with CBB Design Firm, focusing on high-end residential projects throughout the Southeastern United States and Latin America. In this role, Macy will bring creative vision and strategic design expertise to a diverse range of homes. Macy’s work is supported by strong technical skills in Revit and AutoCAD, allowing her to efficiently develop detailed plans and visualize designs with precision, thanks to her time at High Point.
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Mr. Brandon Jones, Instructor of Home Furnishings and Interior Design, encouraged me to continue developing my growth mindset and always pushed me to become the best version of myself.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success? “The campus has grown a great deal in the past 4 years. Watching that growth has been inspiring to know that growth at all levels is possible and that even if you are doing amazing, there is always more potential.”

Advice for underclassmen: “Be proactive, start your job search journey early and don’t hesitate to look for jobs the old-fashioned way. Just walk in and talk to someone, it can get you further than you think.”
