In a hybrid work environment based in Austin, TX, Emily will collaborate with teams to optimize business processes and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
How HPU helped you get there: “HPU really helped me feel confident stepping into the professional world. The classes, mentorship, and career resources made it easy to connect what I was learning to what I wanted to do after graduation. I felt supported every step of the way in figuring out my goals and how to achieve them.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Jacob Crawford, Senior Success Coach, was definitely my biggest mentor at HPU. He always made time to offer advice and push me to think bigger about my future and constantly had my back. Having someone believe in me like that made a huge difference.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “One of my most meaningful moments was landing my first big internship in my Junior year. It reminded me that growth happens when you push past what feels comfortable.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success? “Time management, adaptability, and communication were huge. At HPU, balancing classes, internships, and campus life taught me how to prioritize and stay flexible — which has made a big difference now that I’m working full-time.”
What are the values and virtues HPU’s campus helped you develop that you’ll take with you after graduation? “HPU really emphasized leading with integrity, staying positive, and serving others. Those are things I carry with me daily, whether it’s working with clients, collaborating with a team, or navigating challenges.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Take advantage of every opportunity, even the ones that scare you a little. Build your network early, say yes to internships, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Your future does start now, and HPU gives you everything you need to make the most of it.”
