Most impactful mentor at HPU: “Dr. Melike Kahya,Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Kahya is my research mentor and she has helped me grow into the accomplished, ambitious woman I am today. While working on her research team, she has allowed me to help build study protocol, handle participant relations and lead visits. All these opportunities helped me build science learning and professional communication skills. I am so thankful to Dr. Kahya for giving me responsibilities to help me grow as a student.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Stay positive, go to class and never stop learning. We are so lucky to have the opportunity at HPU and it’s important to take advantage of every second.”
