How HPU helped you get there: “HPU really helped me figure out the path I wanted to take and gave me the tools to get there. Between the supportive professors and leadership opportunities, I was able to gain real experience that directly prepared me for a career in Human Resources. The Office of Career and Professional Development helped me a lot with perfecting my resume and building a strong LinkedIn profile. They even encouraged me to reach 500+ connections, which actually led me to connecting with my current employer. Their guidance made a big difference in how I presented myself professionally online.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My most impactful mentor at HPU was David Bergen, Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship. He supported me throughout my time in Alpha Phi Omega and helped me grow as a leader. As someone who also teaches in the Leadership minor, he challenged me to think about what it means to lead with purpose and helped me apply those lessons in real-life situations.”

Most impactful moment at HPU: “Joining Alpha Phi Omega was the most impactful moment of my time at HPU. It gave me the opportunity to serve others, build strong friendships and take on a leadership role as a member of the executive board for a year. That experience really shaped my confidence and passion for leading with purpose.”
