How HPU helped you get there: “HPU helped me come out of my shell by offering numerous opportunities to present my work—through classes, conference funding and High-PURCS. The communication skills I developed here played a key role in helping me achieve my goal of getting into grad school.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My advisor Dr. Silvana Rosenfeld, Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology, was my most impactful mentor at HPU. She guided me to become the best researcher, presenter and person I could be. Several of the opportunities I had been offered at HPU were thanks to her and I will always be grateful for that.”

How you used Career & Professional Development: “The Office of Career and Professional Development helped me customize and tailor my resume to fit every school and internship I applied to.”

Advice for underclassmen: “My advice to underclassmen is to make use of the connections that you have gained throughout college and don’t forget to follow up with them too!”
