Post-graduation plans: Amanda is beginning her career as a DAT Associate with Pricewaterhousecoopers (PwC) in New York, New York. Starting out as an intern for PwC, Amanda was offered a full-time job offer after succeeding in the role, showing her work ethic, asking questions, offering solutions and being personable. She even was able to travel with the team into Arizona and was the only intern on the trip. As a DAT Associate, Amanda will support engagement teams by analyzing data, testing systems and controls, and leveraging innovative solutions to deliver insights that drive informed business decisions. Her role combines accounting knowledge with technology to help clients build trust in their financial reporting and digital processes.

Professor Griffith is such an inspiration as she challenged me to reach my fullest potential combined with motivating me to pursue a role at my dream company.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “The classes that business students attend, such as Business Boot Camp and Business Communications.”
Did the Office of Career & Professional Development contribute to your success? If so, how? “Yes, they helped me develop my resume and interviewing skills.”
Advice for underclassmen: “Interview and keep applying if you haven’t heard back from a company. Be personable in your interview, and get involved on multiple things on campus that peak your interest. Enhance your resume to show how your skills fit the job.”
