Post-graduation plans: Marissa began her career as a Marketing Associate for Alpine Saxon Woods in Purchase, New York. As a Marketing Associate at an asset management firm, she leads the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, social media and web platforms, strengthening brand visibility and client engagement. In addition, she creates and manages pitch books, presentations, as well as marketing collateral to support client meetings, institutional sales efforts and business development. Lastly, Marissa maintains and optimizes the CRM database to ensure accurate client data and enable more effective targeting for campaigns and relationship management.

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My most impactful moment was taking a class with Professor Larry Quinn, Chair of the Department of Sales, and Professor Ginger Moore, Professor of the Practice of Marketing and Sales; they have both shaped the way that I have grown personally and professionally.”
Most impactful moment at HPU: “The most impactful moment for me was realizing how supported I was by my professors and peers during my time in undergrad and graduate school. Their encouragement and collaboration made me feel empowered to take risks, lead with confidence and embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. That sense of community truly shaped how I view leadership and success.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success? “HPU’s inspiring campus environment fosters motivation, focus and a sense of purpose every day. Being surrounded by dedicated faculty, professional mentors and peers who are driven to succeed has encouraged me to hold myself to a higher standard. What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success? “The idea of networking, no matter what stage of life you are in, is so important, and HPU has helped me develop that skill and prepared me for long-term success.”
