Through roles like being a Resident Assistant, peer tutor and involvement in hospitality organizations, I’ve been able to build real-world skills, grow professionally and gain confidence in pursuing a career in hospitality.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “My most impactful mentor at HPU is Dr. Marisa Ritter, assistant professor of hospitality management and certified hospitality educator.
Most impactful moment at HPU: “One of my most impactful moments at HPU was participating in President’s Seminar with Dr. Qubein. Hearing directly from him about leadership, purpose and personal growth encouraged me to think more intentionally about my goals and the kind of leader I want to be. It was a powerful experience that helped shape how I approach opportunities and challenges moving forward.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success? “HPU’s environment encourages students to get involved, take leadership roles and build meaningful connections. Being surrounded by motivated peers and supportive faculty pushed me to take advantage of opportunities that helped me grow personally and professionally.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success? “HPU helped me develop leadership, communication and problem-solving skills that will support my long-term success. Through leadership roles, service opportunities and hands-on experiences, I learned how to work with diverse groups of people and adapt in professional environments.”
