Post-graduation plans: Alexandria has accepted a position as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department Residency Program at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, she will be caring for patients during some of their most critical moments. Alexandria is excited to continue learning, build her confidence and grow in a fast-paced environment where she can make a real impact.

“High Point University’s Teresa Caine School of Nursing challenged me to grow both personally and professionally, helping me build confidence in my clinical skills and critical thinking. Through hands-on clinical experiences and supportive faculty, I was able to develop the foundation needed to succeed as a new graduate nurse.”

Most impactful moment at HPU:

“One of the most impactful moments at HPU was realizing how much I had grown from the beginning of nursing school to now. I started out feeling nervous and unsure, but through my experiences and support from faculty, I gained the confidence to care for patients and pursue my dream of becoming a nurse.”

Advice for underclassmen:

“Stay consistent, ask questions and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. The more you put into your experience, the more prepared you’ll be after graduation.”
