In this role, she will work directly with channel partners to help sell and support Motorola’s Avtec dispatch software for business and public safety clients. Molly will share product expertise and identify new market opportunities throughout the sales process.
How HPU helped you get there:
“High Point University introduced me to Motorola Solutions during the HPU Sales Fair. The experience allowed me to apply the skills I developed at HPU, such as delivering a strong two-minute pitch. Without the sales fair, I would not have discovered the internship opportunity or had the chance to apply.”

“Dr. Tim Koba, assistant professor and director of the Master of Arts in Communication and Business Leadership program, has been my most impactful mentor at HPU. He went beyond teaching classroom concepts by guiding me on how to apply them directly to real-world professional environments.”

“HPU helped me build strong communication, active listening and relationship-building skills. Practicing elevator pitches and networking directly with industry leaders taught me how to present myself professionally and connect with others with confidence.”

“My most impactful moment at HPU was attending the HPU Sales Fair and connecting with the team at Motorola Solutions. Pitching myself to recruiters and turning that conversation into a summer internship and ultimately a full-time role showed me how much I’ve grown professionally during my time here.”
Advice for underclassmen:
“Focus on building and practicing your life skills before you actually need them. Get comfortable delivering your pitch, polish your resume and practice networking with industry leaders on campus so that when the right opportunity comes, you’re ready to take it.”
