There’s a solar eclipse happening soon! Viewed from High Point, the moon will block a little more than one-third of the Sun on Saturday, October 14th, starting shortly before noon and ending just before 3pm. Come view this wonderful show in the sky! The High Point University Department of Physics and Astronomy will have telescopes (with solar filters) and eclipse glasses available to safely view this event from beginning to end. The Culp Planetarium will also have shows at 12:00, 12:45, 1:30 and 2:15.
