The Advanced Digital Dentistry Fellowship at the High Point University Workman School of Dental Medicine is a full-time, 12-month certificate program providing advanced training in contemporary digital dentistry. The fellowship integrates clinical patient care, digital laboratory training, treatment planning, and didactic education, with an emphasis on restorative, esthetic, prosthodontic, and implant dentistry. Fellows gain hands-on experience across the digital workflow—from scanning and digital design to 3D printing, milling, implant planning, guided surgery, and definitive restorative treatment. Fellows also participate in case presentations, literature review, teaching, and scholarly activity while working closely with faculty and digital laboratory technicians. Upon successful completion, fellows are awarded a Fellowship Certificate in Digital Dentistry.

Application Requirements

The program accepts national and international applicants. We encourage general dentists and specialists to apply. There is no option for part-time attendance.

This fellowship does not carry a salary or stipend.

Program Start: June 29, 2026

Applicants must submit the following:

  • Most recent CV. Include a passport style photograph.
  • Must have earned a D.M.D./D.D.S. degree, or equivalent; copy of dental diploma and copy of dental school transcripts must be submitted. English translation must be used for transcripts not in English language.
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation should be submitted. One of these letters must come from the Dean or a Program Director. All letters should have contact information attached to the recommendation.
  • All foreign applicants whose primary language is not English should submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score (we do not accept the IELTS test). A minimum TOEFL score of 90 is required for application consideration. TOEFL test scores taken more than 3 years before the application date will not be accepted.
