The Program
The NHDA Leadership Institute develops future executives in the bulky goods, last mile logistics sector through a robust and relevant curriculum focused on leadership, operations, administration, and industry-specific challenges. Participants gain a well-rounded understanding of differing operational models while learning how to apply leadership principles to real-world business issues facing the final mile delivery industry.
Hosted in partnership with High Point University’s Executive Education program, the Leadership Institute applies an executive education model inspired by the Young Presidents Organization model used at Harvard University, with a focus on universal pillars of leadership.
Graduates are recognized by the NHDA Foundation as “NHDA Fellows” and receive a Continuing Education Certificate from High Point University.

The final session is held in conjunction with the 2026 NHDA Annual Forum, which takes place July 19-22, 2026, in St. Louis.
Tuition
Tuition: $7,500 per participant
Tuition covers all class-year expenses except travel, including program facilitation, course materials, overnight hotel accommodations, meals, and registration for the 2026 NHDA Annual Forum, where participants will be recognized for successful completion of the Leadership Institute.
