Mr. Jones teaches courses on American History from the creation of the United States through the Civil War, in addition to classes on military history such as the Second World War. His particular areas of interest are U.S. Military History, political relationships between the American colonies and Britain during the mid-18th century (especially the War of Jenkins’ Ear), and the conflict over development of an American identity (especially during the Antebellum Period).
