Jennifer Grider joined High Point University in 2014 as a Learning Excellence Specialist before transitioning to her current role of Student Engagement Coach. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Certificate in Culinary Arts, and her Master of Education Degree in Teaching and Learning Theory, with a concentration in Student Services. Jennifer was an actuarial analyst prior to entering the field of higher education. Jennifer has extensive experience in working with students with learning disabilities and social and emotional disorders, assessing student needs, mentorship, and staff training. Jennifer works with students holistically, ensuring their experience at High Point University encompasses all areas of college life. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, gardening, hiking, fishing, and attending musicals.
