Erin DiFabio is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Earl N. Phillips School of Business at HPU. Ms. DiFabio teaches classes in Financial and Managerial Accounting. She enjoys research in the areas of Financial Accounting, Non-GAAP Measures, and fraud. Prior to HPU, Ms. DiFabio taught at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William and Mary both in-person and as an online Master Lead / Section Lead for William & Mary’s Online Master of Business Administration (OMBA), Online Master of Accounting (OMAcc), and Online Master of Finance (OMSF) programs.
Ms. DiFabio earned her B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University, Master of Accounting (MAcc) from William & Mary, and Master of Science Business Analytics (MSBA) from William & Mary. Ms. DiFabio is also working on a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Business Intelligence with a dissertation in Accounting from Marymount University. Prior to pursuing degrees in accounting, Ms. DiFabio served in the United States Marine Corps and then worked in Emergency Services for many years.
Ms. DiFabio has received multiple awards over the years including the Online Faculty Champion Award from The Raymond A. Mason School of Business Center for Online Learning, the Faculty Excellence Award from The Raymond A. Mason School of Business Master of Science in Finance Program, an Academic Achievement Award from The Institute of Internal Auditors, and a Tau Beta Sigma Service Award from Tau Beta Sigma at Syracuse University.
