Karen Gerrior-Mariani

Greetings! I am Karen L. Gerrior-Mariani, Associate Director of Regional Admissions for High Point University based in Massachusetts. I work with students in Eastern Massachusetts [Counties: Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Middlesex, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk]. Born and raised in Massachusetts and a daughter of a proud educator, I am thrilled to be a part of the High Point University admissions team and work with students from my home state. I earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science Degree in Management from Lesley University, as well as, have worked with the field of education for over 15 years with extensive volunteer experience in college alumni relations. Prior to entering the field of higher education, I worked in professional sports (NBA, NHL, MLB) and in the TV/entertainment world (Showtime Networks). As a regional representative for High Point University, I am happy to meet with students, parents, guidance counselors and families to help you learn more about the extraordinary experience High Point University offers. In my spare time, I love to watch and play sports and spend much time in hockey rinks and swimming arenas, and on soccer and lacrosse fields cheering on my three children.
