Dr. Bettleyon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Athletic Training within the Congdon School of Health Sciences. He earned his B.S. in Exercise Science and M.S. in Athletic Training from Bloomsburg University and completed his clinical doctorate in Athletic Training from Moravian University. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Licensed Athletic Trainer in North Carolina (LAT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-EP).

 

Jordan’s clinical expertise is in therapeutic exercise and performance in collegiate athletics. He teaches Gross Anatomy, Lower Extremity Musculoskeletal Assessment, Therapeutic Interventions II & III as well as Evidence-based Practice III. Jordan implements a multifactorial approach to rehabilitation and performance. This is accomplished through a mixture of didactic and experiential work with evidence-based practice at the forefront of clinical decision-making.

 

Along with teaching responsibilities, Jordan provides rehabilitation services to High Point University Athletics Teams. He is also active within the community by providing Athletic Training services to local youth sports programs for tournaments and showcases.
