Laura Stainback is a lifetime lover of dance that discovered the world of Ballroom and Latin dance at the age of 20. She began her career teaching and competing professionally and in the pro/am division around the United States. Over her career she won multiple teaching awards and also competitive awards in the American Smooth division. She opened up Best of Ballroom Dance Studio in Winston- Salem in 2017 and loves spreading her passion for dance to the surrounding community. She helped start the Latin and Ballroom Club in 2017 at HPU and hopes to not only instill in the students the many valuable life lessons that ballroom can bring to ones life but she also plans to bring HPU Club to a competitive level.
