David joined the Office of Career & Professional Development in July 2024. He has worked in higher education since 2000 in recruiting and enrollment and for the last 11 years as a Career Advisor. Working with students pursuing majors with various career paths has been his pleasure and he finds fulfillment in assisting students navigate their career journey.
David has lived in several states, his father served in the US Air Force, and he credits the many moves with his ability to relate and find commonalities easily. He has loved North Carolina for as long as he can remember and, along with his wife, has been vacationing here for 30+ years. David moved from Florida to be near his two granddaughters, enjoy the beautiful outdoors of North Carolina, and is truly excited to work with the EXTRAORDINARY students & graduates of High Point University.
David earned a BBA from Stetson University, enjoys the outdoors, and has visited 26 of the 63 National Parks.
