Emily serves as the Assistant Director of Career Advising for the Office of Career & Professional Development. Emily joined HPU in June 2014 as a Student Success Coach assisting first-year students in their transition to college, then became a Career Advisor in 2018. Emily enjoys working with students on exploring majors and careers, refining their professionalism, and crafting excellent application documents for jobs and graduate schools. Prior to coming to HPU, Emily worked in career development services, academic advising, and first-year experience.
Emily is deeply committed to inspiring students to discover their unique strengths and purpose at High Point University and beyond. An East Tennessee native, Emily has lived in the Triad area for over 10 years. She holds degrees in Psychology and Education.
