Samantha joined HPU in July 2023 as a Career Advisor. She previously worked as a retail management trainee then transitioned to working as a recruiter, where she helped in all aspects of the hiring and recruiting process. Samantha auditioned for and attended a performing and visual arts high school as a theatre major. She is passionate about the arts and theatre productions. She represented her undergraduate honors program by presenting research at conferences – both state-wide and regionally. Additionally, she has traveled and lived abroad.
Samantha is a collaborative, creative thinker who enjoys assisting students in marketing their skillsets. She is native to the North Carolina Triad area and graduated from Catawba College in 2020 with a degree in Sociology and minors in Business Administration and Psychology. She began pursuing a Dual degree: Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Higher Education – Community College & University Leadership with Appalachian State University in 2022.
