Dr. Alfonza Williamson, DDS

Dr. Alfonza Williamson serves as an Associate Professor of General Dentistry at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where he is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care while supporting the education and development of future dental professionals. In his role at High Point University, he contributes to a student-centered learning environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, patient communication, and compassionate care.

Dr. Williamson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University. Following graduation, he has practiced dentistry in the Triad area, building strong ties within the local community and providing comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population. Prior to establishing his own practice, he gained valuable experience in a pediatric dental setting, where he developed a strong ability to connect with younger patients and foster positive dental experiences.

Through his clinical teaching and practice, Dr. Williamson is passionate about helping students develop confidence, communication skills, and clinical judgment necessary for successful patient care. He is dedicated to advancing the mission of the Workman School of Dental Medicine by preparing future dentists to serve their communities with excellence and empathy.
