Dr. Benjamin Dyer is a Professor and Director in Advanced Education in General Dentistry for the Workman School of Dental Medicine. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University. Dr. Dyer resonates with the “Clinician” part of the CARE Model most and specializes in restoration (implants, esthetic dentistry, prosthodontics), laser dentistry, sleep apnea, treatment planning for complicated cases, and clinic coverage for residents and pre-docs.
Dr. Dyer was drawn to High Point University because of the ability to be part of a start-up dental school and all the challenges that will come with it. Additionally, he wants to educate patients so that they can play an active role in determining their treatment goals and path.
When brushing his teeth, he only puts toothpaste on his toothbrush.
