Claudia Balderas serves as the Director of Onboarding and Engagement at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where she leads initiatives that support faculty and staff integration, professional development, and organizational engagement. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and collaborative environment that reflects High Point University’s commitment to people, purpose, and professional growth, ensuring new team members feel connected, supported, and empowered from day one.
Claudia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her background in business administration allows her to approach onboarding and engagement with a strategic mindset, helping to build meaningful programs that strengthen team culture and enhance the overall experience within the Workman School of Dental Medicine.
Outside of her professional role, Claudia enjoys participating in continuing education courses focused on professional development, running, gardening, and traveling. She values lifelong learning and personal growth, bringing energy, curiosity, and a spirit of engagement to both her work and her life within the High Point University community.
