Darby Pohle serves as the Learner Support and Retention Manager at the Workman School of Dental Medicine, where she is dedicated to supporting student success and fostering a strong sense of community within WSDM. In her role, Darby works closely with students, faculty, and staff to enhance retention initiatives, provide meaningful learner support, and create an environment where every student feels encouraged, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Her work reflects High Point University’s commitment to holistic education, personal development, and a student-centered approach to learning.
Darby earned her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications from Clemson University and her Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Born and raised in High Point, she is passionate about serving the local community and contributing to the continued growth of HPU and WSDM. Outside of work, Darby enjoys spending time with her husband and children, exploring local parks and eateries, and cheering on college football teams throughout the season.
